Medical alumni through their work also assisting future Doctors and Dentists: The Class of 2028 Stethoscope project was made even more meaningful by a touching contribution from the family of Hyacinth Kerr-Williams, given in honour of three outstanding UWI-trained doctors, Dr. Dwayne Hall, Dr. Garfield Chapman, and Dr. Derek Harvey, who had provided exceptional care to their loved one.
Their donation served as a lasting tribute to the compassion and excellence these doctors embodied, and their legacy will now live on through this new generation of future doctors and dentists.
The Class of 2028 now begins their journey not only equipped with vital tools, but with a profound sense of connection to their global UWI family, a community that shows up when it matters, leads by example, and empowers the future one gesture at a time.
