THE 14TH UWIMAA INTERNATIONAL REUNION CONFERENCE 2023

The reunion is being held In conjunction with the UWI Jubilee celebration. It consists of three main events. The Reunion conference, Smoker/ Mix & Mingle, and the Celebration Fiesta.

The Medical Conference: takes place over two days. July 18 and July 19, 2023.

The conference will take place at the Faculty of Medical Sciences in the Sir Kenneth Standard Auditorium. It begins at 7:00 am on both days. Sign up here: https://www.uwi.edu/alumnionline/civicrm/event/info?id=77&reset=1 or scan the

SMOKER/ Mix & Mingle

The Smoker is a chance for you to be entertained by your fellow alumnus and classmates. It will include a wide variety of talent. All will be performed live for your viewing pleasure. Then after, reconnect with colleagues in the Mix & Mingle.

Takes place after the conference on Day 1. It begins at 7:30 pm. It will take place at the UWI Regional Headquarters, across from the Queen’s Gate entrance to Mona campus.

CELEBRATION FIESTA

Music, dance and atmosphere. The only requirement is that you relax and have a good time. This will be when the Pelican Awards will be given out. The Pelican Award is the highest honor that can be given out by a UWIAA chapter. Come and find out who it is this time.

This event takes place after the events of Day 2 of the conference. It begins at 7:30 pm. It also takes place at the UWI Regional Headquarters.

Continuing Professional Development has awarded the University of the West Indies Medical Alumni Association (UWIMAA) 14th International Medical Reunion Conference with the following credits:

●    Royal College Maintenance of Certification Section 1: 9.0 hours

●    American Medical Association Category 1: 9.0 credits

●    European Union for Medical Specialists UEMS-EACCME®: 9.0 credits
