  • Taylor Hall- Mona – President Shelly-Ann Lawson Francis

The Director of Alumni Relations for The UWI, Celia Davidson Francis was delighted to work with, establish and subsequently register these new Chapters with Alumni Relations – IAD, so that they could become part of the UWIAA Chapter family. These UWIAA Chapters have oofficially registered our Executive Board and Members with the Institutional Advancement Division (IAD), UWI Regional Headquarters and as such are henceforth be considered a bona fide University of The West Indies Alumni Association (UWIAA) Chapter, with permission to use the UWI Crest. They are guided by the UWIAA Constitution and coordinated and facilitated by the IAD.

They will work primarily independently, as well as in collaboration with UWIAA and UWIMAA Chapters and Sub-Chapters on occasion, in areas such as networking, profile raising, employment and internship opportunities for students, E –mentorship, philanthropy and more. Their President will attend the annual Central Executive Committee meeting and report on their Chapters engagement and philanthropic activities.

We are happy they are part of One UWI, One Alumni Family.
